Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CredGST ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

CredGST provides GST compliance scoring services for Indian businesses. Our Service:

  • Generates compliance scores (300-900) based on authenticated GST data
  • Provides detailed compliance reports
  • Lets you share generated reports with partners you choose

Additional features — including tracking other businesses and trading-partner reconciliation — are planned for a future release and are not covered by these Terms today.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

CredGST accounts are passwordless. You sign up with an email address and verify it with a one-time code sent by email. You must provide an accurate email you control.

3.2 Account Security

Because there are no passwords, the security of your CredGST account depends on the security of your email inbox. Keep your email account protected and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

4. GSTIN Verification and Scoring

4.1 Authorization

By submitting a GSTIN for scoring, you represent that you are authorized to access the associated GST data. OTP verification through the GST portal confirms your authorization.

4.2 Score Accuracy

Scores are calculated using data from the Government GST Portal. While we strive for accuracy, scores reflect data available at the time of calculation and may change based on updated filings.

4.3 Score Validity

Generated scores are valid for 60 days. After expiry, a new score must be calculated to reflect current compliance status.

5. Credits and Payments

5.1 Credit System

  • 1 credit = 1 score generation + full report
  • Credits never expire
  • Credits are non-transferable between accounts

5.2 Early access pricing

CredGST is currently in early access. Credits are granted by our team on request and are free during this period. Pricing will be introduced when paid plans launch; users will receive reasonable notice before that change takes effect.

5.3 Payments

Payment processing is not yet available. Until it is, credits are granted by our team upon request and all use of CredGST is free of charge.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Access GSTINs you are not authorized to view
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer our scoring algorithm
  • Share or resell access to the Service
  • Interfere with the Service's operation or security
  • Scrape or harvest data from the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The CredGST scoring methodology is patent pending. All trademarks, content, and technology are owned by CredGST. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that scores will meet specific requirements. Scores are for informational purposes and should not be the sole basis for business decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CredGST shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CredGST harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, unused credits may be forfeited. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
